A friend just happened to come up north and we decided to go to Hatyai, Thailand.
We spent 2 days 1 night in Hatyai. Shop quite a lots *not me* haha !
Upon arrival, I decided to try a Sky Buffet *which means,eating all you can eat in the 33rd Floor of a hotel in the city center*, cost us 149Baht per person.
**comment: The enviroment surrounding is quite nice, but the food, taste normal for us.
Then we sit the famous "taxi" in Hatyai, it is called Tu Tu, went to the Big Market, cost us 30Baht per person for the trip.
Big market- One of the heaven for girls, nice looking shoes, hand bags, girl stuffs, all are right there.
We found extra surprise when walking back from The Big Market to our car, which is located 2km from the market.
Extra Surprise: 3 shops that sell all girl stuffs, in a very very cheap price ! !
We checked in an old hotel, which only cost us 160Bath per person, reasonable with the facilities that they provide.
During the night, we almost walk through all the stalls and shops in the city center.
What we had for our dinner was amazing.
1) Shrimp Biscuit x 1
2) Mango Glutinous Rice x 1
3) Oyster + Squid with fried eggs x 1
4) Crab Meat Wan Tan Noodle x 1
5) Spicy Sour Kuey Teow Noodle x 1
6) Peanut dessert x 1
7) Teh Tarik in a special way of serving x 1
All of these just cost us 320Baht in total !
We eventually planned to visit some temples the next day, maybe raining just spoiled the mood.
Having Pork Mcd in Hatyai was one of the memorable and nice food ! The burger can even be customize.
Shopping again, in Lee Garden Plaza, and there is where we meet a very sentimental protografer. One of the amazing memories in Hatyai !
His name is MitoSoo. He set up a small stall and make his pictures in poscard. This attracted us. And we just sit on the floor, choosing poscard to buy, and listen to all his stories behind all the pictures he took. It is nice to hear his stories, how he came up with all his pictures. Ended up all the postcard that we bought cost us 300Bhat in total.
Again, we tried Fish Cake from KFC, and Bacon Ham Pie from Mcd for lunch ! Malaysia's Kfc and Mcd just don't have all these !
Raining throught out the way when we were driving back to Kayu Hitam, the boarder of Thai-Malaysia.
Decided to go real Thai Massage for me and Oil Massage for my friend, a Must do activity in Thailand.
Thai Massage- 260Baht, Oil Massage- 500Baht.
Ended up the whole journey with a lake view restaurant in the boarder. A must try restaurant with tasty thai food, nice scenery, with the delivery of food using a speed boat ! Cost us 364Baht in total.
Personally, this was again, a wonderful outing with friends.
